XCEL Respiratory Test System is enrolling subjects experiencing flu symptoms. The new testing system will be looking at a three-in-one system to test for Influenza A, B, and COVID.
Symptoms include an elevated temperature of 100 or higher reported in the last 24 hours of a clinic visit, and one or more of the following: congestion or runny nose, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, muscle pain, headache, and new loss of taste or smell.
The visit includes a nasal pharyngeal swab on each side of the nostril. Total of 2 swabs. There will not be any results given, purely a collection trial.
